What separates Acorn Wealth Advisors from other advisors?
A combination of independence, comprehensive service and client focus. As an independent Registered Investment Advisor, we provide the best advice for each client’s specific situation and needs without concerning ourselves with the agenda of a parent company. Our services range from planning to investment management to estate planning—we can meet a wide range of needs under one roof. Finally, we are oriented toward providing each client the attention and service they deserve. We treat our clients as individuals and not numbers.
What is your investment minimum?
We are not bound by a hard and fast rule. In general our services fit best with clients who are serious about achieving their goals, are advisor receptive, and seek financial peace of mind.
What is your fee model?
We are a fee-based Registered Investment Advisor, so the majority of our compensation is earned as a percentage of client assets under management. This helps to ensure that our interests are aligned with those of our clients. Periodically, situations may arise in which the best product for a specific solution is only available with a sales commission. In such cases we fully disclose all the facts to the client, including the amount of the commission as well as alternative products that are available under the fee model.
Where will my assets be held?
Our primary custodian is Charles Schwab, one of the most respected custodians serving independent advisors. Because of our custodial relationship, Acorn Wealth Advisors will never have direct access to your cash.
Who is your typical client?
Successful individuals and families who are serious about achieving their goals. Our clients include professionals, small-business owners, retirees and those at life crossroads such as the sale of assets, major family changes or inheritance.
What is your investment approach?
We tailor our investment portfolios to suit each client’s unique situation and goals. And we believe in a patient, disciplined approach that avoids mistakes and lets the markets do their work.
